Hi Bob,

I thought you might like to see some of the shift knobs I have been making with the Ancient Kauri you shipped me. It takes a lovely finish, though it seems to darken a lot no matter what finish I apply. I have been using urethane spar varnish.

Any tips on how to preserve a lighter color?
