Pepper Mill from Kauri

I have been turning wood for the last 30 years, mainly hard woods from Africa. To have turn this piece of Kauri was a very strange feeling, thinking that this wood is that old. Example: Grandpa of 80 years will more or less give you 625 Grandpa's.
