A certified Ancient Swamp Kauri stump slab of impressive scale and presence — ideal for a high-end dining table, river table, or a statement centrepiece.
This slab was recovered from a buried kauri stump in Northland under MPI-approved milling. Logs from the same excavation site have been carbon-dated at approximately 45,000–50,000 years old, placing this timber among the oldest workable wood on earth.
The slab has been air-dried for over 10 years and will be kiln-dried shortly, ensuring long-term stability while preserving its rich golden grain and prehistoric character.
